1966 Gottlieb's "Ice Show" Wonderful fifty three years “young” pinball machine this "Ice Show" looks and plays like it was made last week. All new mechanical parts like the pop bumpers flippers and a fresh tune up completed end of November 2019 this is one very pretty pinball machine. Excellent original cabinet, mint original art glass, near mint playfield 53 year old beauty!

Special limited edition of Gottlieb’s 1965 Ice Revue. Made for NY state and Wisconsin manufactures invented add a ball machines to circumvent dumb gambling laws that outlawed replay (normal) pinball. Consequently only 400 Ice Show were ever made a pretty low number in the vintage pinball world. Imagine this in your Ski Lodge.

Light animation on the mint condition backglass spotlighted skaters light up when specials are lit and all six of them flash at game over.

Gaucho flashes for last ball in play. Super cute pinball fun perfect if you have a figure skater in the family. Freshly restored (late November 2019) and ready for your winter vacation home so nice it could work in any room in your home. So much more fun then a 401k and maybe a better long term investment. In 1966 17 year old Peggy Fleming was still a year and a half away from the Gold Medal for the US team in the 1968 Winter Olympics. Playing this beautiful 1966 Ice Show is like taking a trip back in time.

Fine Gottlieb features found on this classic:

  • Make 5 top rollovers for extra ball, each light the pop bumper below it
  • Make 1 thru 6 targets to light the kick out specials for extra balls
  • Animated art glass skaters light up to match the playfield features
  • Gaucho who had his own machine in 1962 lights up on the art glass to let you know “last ball is in play”
  • End of game attract mode all 6 spotlighted skater flash encouraging you to play again

Interest in vintage pinball is at an all time high. Ten new pinball manufacturers have sprung up in this decade. The average price of a brand new pinball machine is over $6000 with “limited edition” models running well over $20,000. That makes owning a vintage pinball machine seem reasonable.
