1977
William's "Liberty Bell" Fast playing vintage pinball machine
with drop targets, great fun for two players. Kind of rare as only
3,000 of these Liberty Bell’s were made in 1977 the last year for
non digital real pinball. Late comer to the Bi-Centennial
celebration, basically a 2 player version of Grand Prix introduced
in 1977. All the major pinball manufactures did a patriotic themed
pinball machine around 1976, Gottlieb did a great one “Spirit of
76”; Bally had “Freedom”; and this “Liberty Bell” from Williams.
Dependable pinball action with a family friendly theme. Fun features
found on Liberty Bell:
- Two rebuilt ultra fast pop bumpers
- Four Drop targets
- Two kick out holes that light double bonus
- End of ball bonus up to 200,000 when doubled
- Light all four stars to light specials and extra balls
- Two spinners
- Scoring to 999,990 and you can do it as this machine plays
well
One of our lower priced machines as the
cosmetics on “Liberty Bell” are only average for a 32 year old
pinball machine. The playfield and glass are in very good
condition; the cabinet has typical vending scuffs but shows
well. This Liberty Bell plays fast and strong and has been
mechanically restored (completed Sept 2009).
On TV in 1977 the “new” shows which all premiered that year were
“SOAP” ,“THE LOVE BOAT” , “CHiPs” and “LOU GRANT” don’t wait
another 30 years for a vintage pinball machine they may all be
gone.
We have safely shipped all over the USA (around $400) and
proudly offer long term service contracts local to us in the
greater Philadelphia area.
