1962
Gottlieb "Rack a Ball
Fun animated (pool balls line up in the head)
billiards themed pinball machine. Fully restored to it's 1962 glory
this beautiful (restoration completed mid January 2021) Rack a Ball
plays and looks very nice. Such a great machine Gottlieb remade it
in 1964 as "Bowling Queen" and again in 1969 as "Mibs".
Pinrescue has real trouble keeping quality restored
pinball machines in stock many sell as soon as we list them. This
year we sold out before Black Friday everyone wants fun things to do
at home.
This Rack a Ball has an
original very nice condition playfield the cabinet and art glass
have had major touch ups and in spite of that look pretty good.
Great game play as the more pool balls you make the harder the
scoring gets and the more difficult it is to get the last few
billiard balls into the rack.
During 1962 Billiard
Hall of Fame member Luther Lassiter won the first of his five all
around championships! Every chance that Luther and his fellow
competitor Minnesota Fats might have played a few games on a Rack a
Ball back in 1962 as they were fixtures in Pool Halls across
America.

- Animated backglass red and white balls fill the pool
rack
- 12 rollovers rack a ball one time only per game
- 4 updated pop bumpers (fast action)
- 3 targets light bumpers and slingshots make all three
