Gottlieb "Rack a Ball" Fun
animated (pool balls line up in the head) billiards themed pinball
machine. Fully restored to it's 1962 glory this beautiful
(restoration completed mid October 2013) Rack a Ball plays and looks
very nice. Such a great machine Gottlieb remade it in 1964 as
"Bowling Queen" and again in 1969 as "Mibs".
Pinrescue has real trouble keeping quality restored pinball machines

This Rack a Ball has a flawless reproduction art glass, beautifully
restored playfield and cabinet. Just the way you would do it if you
had the time, parts, ability and really nice 1962 Rack a Ball to
start with. Over 100 hours of skilled labor went into the mechanical
and cosmetic restoration. Great game play as the more pool balls you
make the harder the scoring gets and the more difficult it is to get
the last few billiard balls into the rack.
During 1962 Billiard Hall of Fame member Luther Lassiter won the
first of his five all around championships! Every chance that Luther
and his fellow competitor Minnesota Fats might have played a few
games on a Rack a Ball back in 1962 as they were fixtures in Pool
Halls across America.
